Old Time Chocolate Peppermint Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. plain flour
    2/3 c. Hershey's Cocoa
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy
Preparation
    Beat butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla on high speed for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir gently until combined. Pour into two 8 inch pans that have been greased and floured. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
