Good For The Heart Chicken Curry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked, diced chicken
1/2 lb. thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1 Tbsp. oil or margarine
1/3 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 c. chopped apple
1/4 c. chopped parsley
3/4 c. skim milk
1 c. water
Preparation

In a large skillet, saute chicken, mushrooms and onions in oil until chicken is lightly browned on all sides.
Stir in flour, broth and curry powder.
Add apple and parsley, then pour milk and water.
Simmer, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until apple pieces are tender and crisp.
Serve over rice.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Calories per serving: 235 (or 335 with 1/2 cup rice).
