Peasant Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1/4 c. lightly packed fresh basil leaves, chopped
    2 Tbsp. capers
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    4 medium-size tomatoes
    2 medium-size cucumbers
    1 large yellow pepper
    1 medium red onion
    1 (12 oz.) loaf Italian bread
    1/2 c. Kalamata olives
    fresh basil sprig (for garnish)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix olive oil, vinegar, basil, capers, salt, pepper and garlic.
    Cut tomatoes, cukes, yellow pepper and red onion into bite-size pieces.
    Add vegetables to bowl with dressing; toss well.
