Pickled Onion And Cucumber Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients.
    Heat to dissolve sugar. Alternate layers of cucumbers and onion in bowl.
    Cover vinegar mixture over vegetables and cover.
    Refrigerate several hours. Makes 2 1/4 cups.
