Swedish Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced apples
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Butter a 9 1/2-inch pie plate.
    Spread apples in pan.
    Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
    Cream butter and add sugar; cream until light.
    Beat in egg.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add to butter, sugar and egg mixture.
    Spoon batter over apples. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
