Corn Muffin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. yellow meal
    1/2 c. oil or shortening (creamed)
Preparation
    Mix egg, oil (or creamed shortening) and milk.
    Add flour sifted with salt and baking powder.
    Add meal.
    Grease muffin tins.
    Fill 2/3 full.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
