Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. potatoes, diced
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 qt. water
    2 qt. milk
    1/4 lb. bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onions in water until tender.
    Add milk. Cook bacon until crisp.
    Blend in flour and salt.
    Stir into the milk mixture.
    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add corn and reheat.
