Fried Okra Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. okra
    salt
    pepper
    cornmeal
    flour
    3 medium tomatoes, diced
    1 small chopped onion
Preparation
    Dice okra and season with salt and pepper.
    Dredge with 1/2 cornmeal and 1/2 flour.
    Fry in hot oil until done.
    Drain well on paper towel.
    Toss in tomatoes and onion.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 4 to 5 servings.
