Cheese Omelet With Herbed Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Italian spaghetti sauce (I find Hunt's to be of good quality; use about 13 oz. of the sauce)
1 can mushrooms
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. cream or milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 slices American cheese
Preparation

Bring spaghetti sauce and mushrooms to boil and simmer.
Whip eggs with cream or milk.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Beat slightly.
Heat butter or margarine in skillet; add eggs and cook slowly.
When somewhat firm, place cheese on top.
Run spatula around edge; fold omelet in half over cheese.
When golden brown, lift onto plate and served with herbed mushroom sauce.
