Party Ryes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cocktail rye bread
    4 oz. can mushrooms, chopped fine
    2 small onions, diced
    4 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
    Spread on slices of cocktail bread to edges.
    Arrange on cookie sheet and place under broiler for 3 to 4 minutes until brown.
    Makes approximately 20 appetizers.
