Old-Time Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Put eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in blender; blend.
    Add milk, blend well.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until done.
