Ingredients

maple syrup
snow or ice cubes

Preparation

Boil 1 cup maple syrup over medium heat until it forms a thread when dropped from a spoon.
It may also form a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
Gather a bowl of new snow and pour hot syrup over it to form a \"spidery\" caramelized confection. It's very sweet.
