Scalloped Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped cabbage
    1 1/2 c. grated American cheese
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place cabbage in saucepan with 1 1/2 tablespoons of water. Cover and cook over low heat until just wilted.
    Lay half the cabbage in buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish with half the cheese and cracker crumbs.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Repeat layers. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
