Stouffer'S Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 2-quart pan.
    Stir in oats and brown lightly over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Set aside and cool.
    Blend flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into cooled oats.
    Blend egg, vanilla and nuts.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonful 3-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
