Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla ice cream wafers
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 qt. strawberries, sliced (frozen or fresh)
Preparation
    Butter 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Crush ice cream wafers and put 3/4 of them in bottom of pan.
    Pat down.
    Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
    Add egg yolks.
    Beat.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add to mixture.
    Mix well.
    Spread over wafers.
    Put a layer of nuts on top, then add your strawberries.
    Whip the whipping cream; spread on top, then sprinkle with the rest of your crushed wafers.
    Chill.
