Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
3 Tbsp. oil or shortening
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with cheese
3/4 c. tomato paste (6 oz. can)
2 Tbsp. instant minced onion or 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Italian seasoning or oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Brown chicken in oil in a large frypan.
Drain excess oil. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes until tender.
If desired, serve chicken pieces with sauce over rice or spaghetti.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
