Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. broken pecans
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Pastry:
    Mix cream cheese, flour, and butter.
    Chill about an hour, then shape into small 1-inch balls.
    Press into gem muffin tins.
