Fresh Strawberry Pie(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. Knox gelatine
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    3 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 pt. strawberries
    1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in cold water and allow to stand.
    Put egg yolks, lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar in upper part of a double boiler. Beat with beater until mixed well.
    Place over rapidly boiling water and beat constantly until very light, thick and creamy. Remove from stove burner; add gelatine and stir until dissolved. Cover and cool until it begins to congeal.
