Peanut Butter Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. butter or evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 to 2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
    1 c. peanuts, finely chopped
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt butter over very low heat.
    Stir in evaporated milk, vanilla and salt.
    Mix well.
    Remove pan from heat and gradually add the sifted powdered sugar.
    Work with hands until a dough consistency is reached.
    Add peanut butter and corn syrup. Mix well.
    Shape dough into balls, dip in chocolate and roll in peanuts.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Makes 48 balls.
