Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
6 eggs
2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream together the sugar and shortening. Then add the 6 eggs (1 or 2 at a time), beating entire time. Blend in the flour, flavorings and salt. Cook in a well-greased and floured tube pan. Spoon the mixture into the pan; don't pour. Bake at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake.
