Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    4 1/2 to 5 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 flour tortillas, cut up
Preparation
    Place chicken in a large pan.
    Add water, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
    Heat to boiling, reduce to simmer and cover.
    Simmer 1 hour, until chicken is tender.
    Remove chicken and save broth. Skin and bone chicken and cut into bite-size pieces.
    Add soup, chicken and tortilla pieces to chicken broth.
    Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to separate tortillas.
