Chocolate Cupcakes(Makes 1 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 sq. baking chocolate
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, unbeaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter and chocolate together. Place sugar, flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 cup milk, egg, chocolate mixture and remaining milk, mixing well after each addition.
Dissolve baking soda in water and vanilla.
Add to mixture.
Fill paper baking cups with batter and place in muffin pan.
Bake 20 minutes.
