Hickory Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 c. hickory nut meats
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and powdered sugar.
    Stir in beaten eggs.
    Sift flour with salt and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk. Flour nut meats lightly and fold into the batter with the vanilla.
