Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. apples, cut up
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice (if apples not tart)
Preparation
    Beat margarine, sugar and egg.
    Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and soda together and stir into creamed mixture.
    If lemon juice is used, add 1 Tbsp. more flour to batter.
    Turn into a bread loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 or more for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Test center with toothpick.
