Mom'S Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, butter, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Stir well.
    Spoon into greased 2 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes, until bubbles in middle.
    May also be topped with crushed potato chips.
    Serves 12.
