Mash Potato Donuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. butter
    dash of vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    3 1/2 to 5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs and butter.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Stir in mashed potatoes.
    Mix 3 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and salt; mix in.
    Add more flour, if needed (up to 5 cups).
    Dough should be stiff.
    Roll 1 to 1 1/2-inches thick, cut out and cook in deep fryer.
    Makes about 40 to 50 donuts.
