Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
1 lb. carrots, sliced
2 apples
2 tsp. fresh ginger
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. orange zest
1 Tbsp. orange juice
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the carrots, apples and ginger.
Cook, stirring frequently, about 5 minutes.
Add the sugar, orange zest and juice and salt.
Cook, stirring, until the carrots and apples are tender, about 10 minutes.
