Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3 1/2 Tbsp. regular all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. light cream
    2 c. chopped cooked chicken
    1/4 c. chopped pimiento
Preparation
    In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Remove from heat.
    Gradually stir in chicken broth or bouillon, then cream.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cook 2 additional minutes.
    Add chicken and pimento and heat to serving temperature.
    Do not boil.
