Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
enough flour to make soft dough
Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
Cut out with doughnut cutter.
Drop in hot grease.
Turn over to brown other side.
If you want sweet doughnuts, powder them with confectioners sugar while hot or eat plain.
