Martha Washington Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 boxes confectioners sugar, sifted
1 stick oleo or butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. pecans, chopped
1 (1/2 lb.) pkg. bitter or semi-sweet chocolate squares
1 block paraffin
Preparation

Cream the first 4 ingredients.
Add nuts.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Use powdered sugar to dip hands into as you roll balls.
Melt chocolate squares and paraffin over low heat.
Dip balls into mixture, one piece at a time, holding each with a toothpick.
Drop onto wax paper (moist inside, hard outside). Stays fresh for weeks.
