Orange Pecan Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium orange, well scrubbed and wiped dry
    3/4 c. pecans
    1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease pans or use paper muffin cups. Finely grate orange peel.
    Finely chop pecans.
    Beat butter and sugar together until pale and creamy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in soda and peel.
    Fold in half of the flour and half of the milk.
    Repeat.
    Fold in pecans.
    Scoop into cups.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
    Remove from oven.
    Brush with orange juice and sprinkle with sugar.
