My Favorite Buttermilk Pound Cake(Serves 12) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    3 or 4 drops of butter flavoring
    3 or 4 drops of almond flavoring
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream sugar and Crisco; let it collect around the sides of the bowl.
    Add eggs in center of bowl and beat at very high speed.
    Add soda, salt and flavorings to buttermilk and stir.
    Stir Crisco and sugar into eggs and beat until light and creamy.
    Add 1/3 of flour and mix well.
    Add 1/2 of milk; mix well.
    Add remainder of milk; add remainder of flour and mix well. Bake in a well-greased and wax paper-lined tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done at 350\u00b0.
