Cinnamon Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless beef chuck
    1 tsp. Crisco
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    1 large can V-8 juice
    4 to 5 potatoes
    4 carrots
    1 onion
Preparation
    Cut up meat into cubes.
    Brown the meat in the Crisco.
    Add chopped up onion and carrots.
    Add cinnamon, sugar, salt and pepper; simmer for about 2 minutes.
    Add V-8 juice and potatoes. Simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, until thickened.
