American Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 to 2 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 onions, sliced
1 lb. can tomatoes, cut up
1 clove garlic (minced or powder)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
water
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Combine 1/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt, dry mustard and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Spread half of mixture over one side of steak. Pound in with side of saucer or mallet.
Repeat other side of steak.
