Sparkling Pineapple Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    1/4 c. lime juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice, chilled
    1 bottle sparkling water, chilled (1 liter)
    1 (1 liter) ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Heat sugar, water and cinnamon to boiling; reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled.
