Molded Pineapple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
3 pkg. plain gelatin
1/2 c. hot water
juice of 1/3 lemon
1/2 c. grated American cheese (approximately 4 slices)
1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Heat pineapple.
Add
lemon juice and sugar; stir until dissolved.\tDissolve
gelatin
in
hot
water.
Add gelatin to pineapple mixture.\tChill until it begins to set.
Add 2 types of cheese.
Fold
in cream (do not whip).
More cottage cheese may be added (I use 1 cup).
A very delightful salad.
