Lisa'S Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can chunk pineapple, drained (save juice)
    2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained (save juice)
    orange juice to make 3 c. liquid
    2 pkg. tapioca pudding (cooking kind only)
    4 bananas, sliced
    1 jar maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Add enough orange juice to reserved juice to make 3 cups liquid. Add juices to the 2 packages of tapioca pudding. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    When cool, pour over the fruit and refrigerate. Chill several hours before serving.
