Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ripe tomatoes
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1/2 c. celery
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Scald and peel tomatoes.
    Put through sieve.
    Strain and save juice.
    Mince other vegetables.
    Mix sugar, salt and spices.
    Add all ingredients to tomato juice.
    Cook 1 hour and stir often to avoid sticking to pan.
    Should be thickened when done.
    Seal in hot, scalded jars.
