Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
5 small apples, peeled and cut in small wedges
nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add beaten egg and mix.
Add apples and mix until moisture from apples makes a cake-like batter.
Pour into well greased baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
