Nine Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 medium onion
    1 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 tsp. or more celery seed
    1 green pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Shred cabbage fine, also pepper and onion.
    Place oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed in pan.
    Stir until it boils and is dissolved.
    Pour over cabbage mix.
    Cover and let set until cool, then refrigerate.
    The longer it sets, the better.
