Eliza'S Hamburger Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
    3 c. small elbow macaroni
    tomato juice
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Fry hamburger or ground chuck until light brown.
    Drain and set aside.
    In boiling water, place macaroni.
    Cook according to package.
    Drain.
    Using the same cooker, add hamburger to macaroni mixture along with enough tomato juice to cover macaroni mixture completely.
    Add sugar and stir well.
    Let mixture simmer on warm until the macaroni takes on the flavor of the tomato juice.
    Can add onions or green peppers if desired, but not necessary.
    Serves 8.
