Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. soft butter or lard
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Rub this
mixture
into a crumbly powder.
Take out 1/2 cup of this
mixture.
Now
add
to
the remainder 1 cup sour milk, 1 teaspoon
soda, and 1 egg.\tBeat well.
After putting this cake in pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup mixture on top.
