Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 c. flour
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Dissolve shortening, sugar, and salt in boiling water.
    Add eggs.
    Dissolve yeast in cold water.
    Add flour, 3 cups at a time. Sift flour 3 times.
    Make early in the morning and let rise a number of times, until about noon.
    Put in refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Make out dough about the size of a walnut.
    Place 3 to a Pyrex custard cup.
    This makes a cloverleaf roll.
    Let rise until the dinner hour.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven.
