Ingredients

2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. thick jam
1/4 to 1/2 c. soft butter
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Mix the sugar and flour, then cream with the butter.
Add the eggs and beat until smooth, then add the jam and mix.
Pour into an 8-inch pastry-lined pie pan and bake about 10 minutes at 450\u00b0. Reduce the heat to 325\u00b0 and bake until the filling is firm.
A delicious pie especially with thick strawberry preserves!
