Great Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. canned milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar, margarine and shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time to well creamed mixture, beating after each.
    Mix dry ingredients separately.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk to other mixture, beating well.
    Add vanilla and beat for a couple of minutes.
    Put mixture into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan.
