Fernandez Family Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pork chops
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (save liquid)
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    2 Tbsp. pimientos
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in oil.
    Place rice on the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle dry onion soup mix, saving about 1 tablespoon.
    Place chops on top of rice.
    Arrange mushrooms and pimientos around chops.
    Add 3 cups of hot water, including the mushroom liquid.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on thickness of chops.
