Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
2 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar and cocoa together into mixing bowl.
Add Crisco, food coloring, vanilla and 2/3 cup milk.
Beat well.
Add eggs and remaining buttermilk.
Beat again.
Mix vinegar and soda; add to cake mixture blending by hand.
Bake in loaf or layer at 350\u00b0.
