Cracklin' Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. or more cracklins, cut in small pieces
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. soft oleo or butter
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, milk and butter.
    Beat well.
    Add cracklings.
    Bake in well-oiled, rectangular pan for 35 minutes at 400\u00b0.
