Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add buttermilk and stir. Turn out on well floured surface and knead 1/2 minute.
    Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
