Milky Way Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 Milky Way candy bars
2 sticks margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Melt candy bars with 1 stick margarine and set aside.
Cream sugar and remaining margarine.
Add eggs; mix well.
Add flour and salt, alternately, with combined soda and buttermilk.
Add melted candy and margarine and then add nuts and vanilla.
Pour in tube pan (greased and floured).
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325\u00b0 or in three 8-inch pans for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Frost with the following icing.
